When Hannibal was coming out in theatres, I decided to pick up Silence of the Lambs on dvd. I saw it at Media Play for $40, where I went ! Only later did I find out that I had opened an OOP CC.

My first Criterion DVD was Hard Boiled, which was purchased back when it was still in print.

1) Robocop (after getting ripped off over at yahoo auctions for $25, I snagged myself one on eBay for less than that a couple months later)
2) Last Temptation of Christ
3) Chasing Amy (the 2-for-20 deal at BB)

I saw Royal Tenenbaums for $5 at Family Video and everything looked to be fine but I had zero $$$ with me, so I passed. Should I go back and see if it's still there? Haven't seen the movie, but for 5 bucks, sounds good, especially since it's a Criterion.

Spinal Tap which I got for $12.49. It was my first online dvd purchase.

Second was Silence of the Lambs which I got from 800.com during the 3 for $1 promotion.

THE THIRD MAN - one of my top ten films of all time. (This also was one of the first VHS tapes I ever bought back in 1984.)
