Missing LOTR Adventure Card
 

So did anyone else find that their highly promoted "LotR Adventure Card" was missing from the TWO TOWERS case? Not only that, but one of the plastic clips that hold the booklet was broken off and not even there. Guess I'm lucky that the discs were intact. Back to Circuit City...

What exactly is it? The BB ad was quite vague.

I got mine today w/ my copy I got at Fry's. My only problem is my cover has a line through the far tower that I didnt notice, now I have to trek back to the store and return it for another one.

Yeah, an "adventure card" doesn't sound like something I'd really care about. I don't think I'd even notice it was missing.

I'm still waiting on mine to be delivered.

Danol could prolly get it from the BB dumpster if you really want it!

there's your problem right there, the card is only sold at BB or other stores owned by them.

It's BS, I got the card and my code doesn't work either Goz. Perhaps they haven't activated it yet? Pretty pitiful. Then again, Best Buy is responsible for the pile of crap known as www.bestbuy.com....

I got one in my Wal Mart copy. Haven't tried it yet.

I got one from the copy I bought from Circuit City. Too bad the code doesn't work yet.

Got mine. It didnt work either. Emailed them hopefully I will hear back soon.

My code doesn't work either. Glad I'm not alone.

Uh, no it's not. I bought my copy at Fred Meyer, totally unrelated to BB. I got an adventure card.

The adventure card is sooo cool*







OK, it's not at all. It's a lame punch out card that gives you access the aforementioned website, and enters you into the drawing for a trip to New Zealand and a new minivan. There's nothing very interesting on the website. The site was working and accepting codes about an hour ago, when I registered my code.

My card worked.

I personally thought it was pretty useless. Nothing there that interested me, but others might find something they like.

Completely useless. I wouldn't worry about it. It just provides links to other websites. I didn't see any coupons or deals on the links I clicked on.

No, not only sold at BB. Bought my copy at Wal-Mart and card was inside and code works fine for me!

Mine from BB didn't work, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one!

got mine from blockbusters. the code worked. as mentioned, it isn't too exciting of a site. have some discounts, buddy icons, screensaver, etc.

Pretty lame discounts. Ran poorly too, although i imagine its getting hammered today.

At least it's not missing an insert.

My card works fine. I bought my copy at Target.

Just tried my code, didn't work.

I think I'm over that one...I bought the DVD to watch the movie, not to access some stupid "adventure" :)

I got one in my copy from hollywood video but I could care less.
