They better let them actually include commentaries now.

I'm actually more excited by this... The South Park info is cool, too, though.

This could be good if we get better special features... but I don't think the new versions will look well next to the old ones on my shelf.

Well I suppose they could look fine but not the same as before. Eh, nvm I'd rather have better special features. Hopeuflly commentaries!!!

I never compared side by side, but I have heard people say that they thought the video and/or sound quality was better on the original rhino releases than on the WB stuff... if true, then hopefully we will see improvements in that area with the transition, as well.

Hmm...the MSRP always gets me down. Guess I was spoiled by that whole Media Play giveaway on season 1. Either way, I can't wait for this release!

Why is the studio releasing it changing? I mean, I realize that Comedy Central is owned by Viacom (who owns Paramount), but then why were the first two seasons put out by WB?

Not that I really care. The only thing I want is good A/V quality and hopefully the same style packaging as the first two seasons.

Comedy Central was owned by both Viacom and Warner until recently when Warner sold off its stake.

If I had bought all the original Rhino volumes, is this the set I should begin purchasing to continue with all the season episodes?

I thought the Rhino ones ended a few episodes before the end of season 2, didn't they?

I hope this means that they'll do commentaries. I know the reason Matt and Trey didn't do them for Season 2 was that they were pissed at Warner. If Paramount is smart, they'll give them full license to say whatever they want on Season 3 commentaries.

I'd love to see some commentaries or special features, but like someone said earlier, It's PARAMOUNT...so I highly doubt it.

Did anyone else send away for the commentaries with proof of purchase of the first season DVD? I've yet to get those discs.
