Friends: Season 5 coming November 4th

Digital Bits had listed a 9/2 release date, a mere month and a half after season 4, but I had a feeling it was too good to be true. I was hoping I'd be wrong though!

From TVShowsonDVD.com:
Warner Bros will be releasing Friends Season 5 to DVD on November 4, 2003. This should put the rumors of a September 2nd release to bed once and for all. We're not sure where that date came from, but it wasn't from anyone at Warner Bros.

Thanks to Matt Smith for letting us know about the date published in Video Business (Video Business reported an 11/14 date, but we got the correct one from Warner directly).

Thanks! I've been wondering about this all day. Well, off and on, you know, not continuously.

I'm glad they're pumping these out more quickly too.

Fantastic. I saw the September date on Digital Bits this morning but I'm glad November is the official word. I have enough to buy in September.

Hmm, November 4th will be Friends: Season 5 and Finding Nemo. Funny day.

Cool deal. I just finished watching season 4 last night.

Hopefully the rest of them come out just as fast.

Friends Season 5

ALL IN THE SAME DAY!!!! I had already planned to take November 4th off from work... Now, I may have to take November 5th off as well!

I think the Indy trilogy has been moved up to October 21st.

November 4th will be a big day for me too, with Finding Nemo,
Friends, Laura, Legally Blonde 2 and The X-Files: Season 8.

If what Rob is saying is true, SWEET.

My wallet is hurting just thinking about all of the money that is going to be coming out of it by the end of the year for DVDs.

The Best of a season?

*cough* retarded *cough*

I wonder how it'll sell.

I might have to waiting on buying Season 5. Wayy too much stuff coming out. And it's rare that I don't pick something up on it's release day.

They released Best of Season 1 and Best of Season 2 DVDs in March, and a Best of Season 3 last month. I'm guessing they've sold fairly well, since they haven't abandoned the concept. Personally, I stopped buying Best of Friends DVDs when they started releasing complete season sets ( ) back in April of last year.

Isn't the feature Documentary : 'The One that Goes Behind the Scenes' full length documentary the same that was on one of the Best of Friends DVD sets?

I can't wait! I like how they aren't changing the looks of the case (except the color)...

Hopefully the sixth season will be a yellow case...
