Buying Non-Region 1 DVDs

Hello everyone,

I am new to the board, that is I finally took the time to register but have been an avid reader for quite some time. Well anyway, I was wondering if anyone could suggest some good non-region 1 dvds that aren't released here in the U.S. or have a better release elsewhere. The reason being is that I just bought a region-less dvd player and need to start a good collection of foreign dvds. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum!

There's tons of information in the "international" section. You might want to start with the FAQs there, and read through some of the topics. You'll find specific titles, on-line retailers, etc all discussed there. Have fun!

Hello and hearty welcome to DVDtalk, when looking at the prices of the DVD, if you see the price and want to know how much in U.S dollars it is, go to a search engine and type Currency Converter.

Put the amount in the box of the country your buying from in, then choose US or USA, this will give you a better idea of how much you will be charged. Shipping of course is extra, but you can find out the different shipping costs, the way you found the DVD price. Do the math and add the 2 together and this is what it will really cost you to buy the DVD. :)
