Good Will Hunting- Supposedly the Canadian release of GWH is anamorphic where as the US version is not, though I seem to recall that issue has now been corrected in the US version. Not positive though.
Trainspotting- I believe the Canadian release has more special features.
Also, I believe the three-disc Canadian release of Brotherhood has inferior video release compared to the US version, but again, that is off the top of my head so you may want to look it up.
The only reason I know this is I asked this same question about six months ago

Cronenberg's Existenz. The Canadian version is a big time improvement over the US edition, most notably for the commentary tracks.

On this note does anyone know if the upcoming R1 disc of the The Hole is going to have a DD5.1 track? The Canadian disc was pretty kick-ass though the soundtrack was only Pro-logic. I remember reading somewhere that the producers wanted to get a 5.1 track on it, but ran out of time.

Once again in terms of 'extras' the Canadian version of 'Atanarjuat - The Fast Runner' is superior to the U.S release..however as in the case of BOTW the picture quality isn't as good.
