That soundtrack is awesome!!

I don't have the original, but judging from reviews of the SE, it doesn't sound like it.

My thoughts exactly. Very upsetting...

All of those features are on my SE DVD. DVDfile had also posted that Rudy was making its "DVD Debut."

If that's the case, looks like more money to spend... :)

My SE is scratched badly, might as well just get this...

The commentary would be new, it's not on the current SE

Can't you read the cover? It's without a doubt, one of the finest sports movies ever made! ;)

Seriously, it's a damn good movie that works on levels beyond the simple sports story. In a lot of ways, I guess it can be compared to the original <B>Rocky</B> in that the triumphs don't come from "winning the big game."

This may be a bit disappointing, but from other spec lists it looks like it may as well be a repackaging with a CD. I guess DVDFile got their info wrong. :(

Hmmm, I wonder why Columbia couldn't have had this version ready when they released it a couple of years ago.....Oh, that's right, then they couldn't have ripped people off by double-dipping.

I already have the special edition, and I have the soundtrack signed by Jerry Goldsmith. So I will probably not be picking this up.

Is it in fact remastered? Video &/or 5.1 Audio- wise?

I wouldn't buy another version if Rudy delivered it AND let me tackle him! :)

Maybe Tech will win the football game at the end. That would be cool.

James Brown didn't do Shout, it was the Isley Brothers, or Otis Day and the Knights, if you prefer.
