The Thin Red Line OOP?

I have been searching high and low for this DVD and can't find a copy at any store. I have found it online, but I was just wondering if anybody knew if it went oop?

Just because it's not well stocked in certain B&M stores doesn't mean it's OOP. Matter of fact I think both the DTS and the original DD5.1 versions are still in print.

They had a mess of them at the Target I was at yesterday for $9.44.

Check Wal-Mart. I almost always see it on one of the bargain shelves.

I got the "fox war classic" version (with DTS) at Costco 2 weeks ago for 8.99.

You can find the version with the Melanasian songs, along with the OOP two-disc Patton, in the WWII Collection box set. This also includes Tora! Tora! Tora! and The Longest Day, and is priced around 50 bucks.

I had the good version of Tora! Tora! Tora!, so I returned the one that came in the box. Unfortunately, I also returned The Thin Red Line, thinking that I wanted the newer version.

The only Thin Red Line that is OOP is the one that has the DTS logo along the top like X-Files disc and Out Of Sight DTS to name a few. However, the one listed as having dts on the back is in print, but the front cover along the top says Fox War Classics.

Any Best Buys has them....

The loss of the songs is really not worth getting upset over. Would you really ever watch them more than once? I'll take the DTS edition anyday.

Nope, wrong.
The first non-DTS release is also OOP. This is the version that had the Melanesian songs.

There has been 3 different releases for this title, and the only one still in print is the Fox War Classics version.

I still only have the first DD5.1 release because I could not part with the Melanesian songs, so I never upgraded. I eventually broke down and bought the whole cd of the Melanesian songs so could get the DTS now I suppose, lol....

Yep, the Fox War Classics disc is the same as the DTS version. Same disc, new cover.
