Any Coen Brothers movie deserves to have a commentary track by Joel and Ethan! I am actually suprised that all we have right now is a commentary track for The Man Who Wasn't There...

Kevin Brownlow and Robert A. Harris for Abel Gance's Napoleon. (Brownlow reconstructed the film and is the ULTIMATE authority on the film. Harris supervised the US release and co-produced the Carmine Coppola scoring.)
I'd like to see Roger Ebert do some more commentaries for big films. It's a pity MK2 didn't have him do some commentaries for the Chaplin films.
Let It Be with a commentary by Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney would be interesting.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone doing commentary on South Park Season One in character as Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman (ala Spinal Tap commentary)
Jerry Zucker, David Zucker and Jim Abrahams on Police Squad: In Color
Robert E. Lee on Gettysburg
A group of computer geeks for Monty Python and The Holy Grail
Another drunken commentary by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for Orgazmo!
The commentaries I seem to enjoy the most are for historically-based movies commented by the people involved in the actual event. The Ranger commentary on BlackHawk Down 3 disc is absolutely incredible.

Dennis Hopper, Issabella Rossellini, Kyle MacLachlan, and David Lynch on BLUE VELVET.
PETER GREENAWAY on any of his films.
A group commentary from the crew of the original STAR TREK. (Hoped they'd do it on ST:IV)
A commentary from Orson Welles would have been great.
Lee Harvey Oswald on JFK.

I would love to hear Woody Allen talk about his films.
And just in general more commentaries with all the stars together.

I second the motion of a cast commentary on ST:IV
Would also like to hear Spielberg on The Color Purple - I know he caught a lot of flack for this one so I'd like to hear his comments.
Cast and director commentary on Heat and The Untouchables
How about a Tolkien commentary on the Lord of the Rings films. As if 4 commentary tracks on the EE isn't enough!
If we can add TV shows, I hope, hope hope that Paramount asks Avery Brooks to do commentary on the DS9 ep "far Beyond the Stars" but they have yet to do a single commentary for any ST episodes so I'm not holding my breath.

I would vote for...
Cast commentary tracks for,
16 Candles (Ringwald, etc.)
Weird Science (Hunter, Paxton, etc.)
Breakfast Club (Sheedy, Ringwald, etc)
Pretty in Pink (Ringwald)
Better off dead (Cusak, the French girl, Ricky, and the paper boy!)
A Christmas Story (cast commentary with the kids, and Melinda Dillon)
Monster Squad (one with the former kids, and one with Stan Winston and the deisgn team).
Return to Oz (one with cast, the other with the directors and deisgn teams, which would shed more light on how this beautiful film was made)
Friday the 13th, (one with cast, including Bacon, and another with the director, special effects crew)
Star Wars Episode 4-6 (a cast commentary with Ford, Fisher, Williams, etc, a commentary with Lucas, and a commentary with the design team, explaining how they did all of that stuff pre-cgi)
And for one non 80's era film,
Lord of the Rings Trilogy (a commentary track with isolated score and a discussion with the composer). This was supposed to be on the original EE dvd, but it was dropped for the 2.0 track,.. what a waste.
