I looked 'em up on IMDB.com, but there were several titles with those names.

There were 14 titles for Pledge, with The Pledge (2001) being the only one on DVD.

Hoover had 12 titles, but none were on DVD, although Little Miss Hoover sounds... interesting...

I'm just getting into the home theater thing, and don't have tons of disposable income, either.

DemonDan, seeing those discs just sitting out collecting dust makes my collector's heart shudder.

Great setup Jo Yana !

One little question . What version of Ben Hur is that about half way down the page ? I've not seen a set like that anywhere and would be interested to know where you bought it as well .

I think I've posted in this thread before but what the hell...

Another view

Component rack (closer up)

Some of my posters and a peek at the SVS subwoofer

DVD Shelf (I have probably 30 or so more since this pic was, taken it's almost full now)

Here's my home theater setup. It was quite impressive six years ago but now its just...adequate.

The display is a 57 inch digital RPTV (Toshiba 57HDX82).

I prefer to keep my collection of DVDs out of view. This is both a preference and a necessity due to our two small children. This little closet in the downstairs guest room serves this purpose quite well.

The built in shelves provide ample storage space for all of my movies and also keep my small collection of robot toys away from curious and potentially destructive hands.

pro-bassoonist:

the two "oversize" cases on the left of Musa are:
Hotelier TV Series, 10-disc Malaysian release
Harmonium in My Memory, Korean Continuity Book Edition

on the right of Musa:
My Wife is a Gangster, Korean release
Autumn Tale/Endless Love TV series, 9-disc Malaysian PAL release
Winter Love Story TV series, 6-DVD Korean release (a beautiful set)

I forgot to include the view of the seating area.

You can see the surround speakers on the wall. The subwoofer is behind the sectional in the corner. The remote control (which I love) is a Home Theater Master MX-500.

Hey Thunnus, nice wireless rear surround speakers!!
Too bad you don't have a rear center channel speaker, then this setup would really be perfect!!! Also, I think the sofa should be moved away from the wall a little bit to give the rear speakers a chance to "envelope" the listener.

Sorry thunnus. I wanted to give you praise on an attractive set up, until I saw that you keep your DVDs in the closet. Anyone who's THAT ashamed that they keep their collection in the closet gets no praise from me.

'sides...didn't you know closets were for small children..?
