"Higher Learning" DVD Content Question.
 

I just picked up this great movie on DVD for $9.99. But, as I finished the movie; I recalled the Connelly-Swanson scene in the dorm room to be longer, with more skin then what was shown on the DVD.

What's up with a DVD getting the "edited for content" chop? I've seen the "extended" scene, so, I know it was cut short on the DVD.

Anyone know? Anyone care? If not, move along.

I haven't seen the movie in a while, but I remember the dorm room scene was short and showed very little skin. IMDB doesn't list any alternate versions, either, for what that's worth.

Maybe you saw the "open matte" FS version and had it on slow-mo... :D

I appreciate your candor... but, the version I saw was a "clip" I pulled off the 'net. It's definately from the movie and from that scene. I'm just a little miffed I didn't get the full scene on the DVD I just paid $10 for. It's not everyday one gets to see two gorgeous female celebs make out on film. ;)

I saw this in theaters, used to own it on video, and have the DVD, and don't ever remember this scene being very long. I always remember it as short and implied.

Well, this seems to be just a tad strange. I just re-watched the 20 second clip I have that says it's from Higher Learning and Kristy Swanson is definately topless. Eventhough her back is to the camera, the scene is missing from the DVD.

Too bad too. Oh well... Great DVD none-the-less.
