Anywho, the movie is all thats truly important. I'd buy it barebones, frankly, even if it was in a brown paper bag....

Thank you. Someone finally agrees with me. I don't think the cover is beautiful, but the disc (and price) more than makes up for it.

I'm going to chime in with the mandatory "I refuse to buy this for several reasons, including the fact that the cover is ugly, but even more importantly, that it's not the criterion 3 disc version like Brazil...." -smile-

Like others, I'm glad it's coming out at all, and THRILLED to have a commentary on it to boot. However, maybe I will throw out the cover and draw my own on a paper bag and use that as the cover.

Oh yeah, I should also be prepared to complain that there's no insert in this one. No matter, I'll just make one of my own on another paper bag.

I agree with the rest, who cares about the cover, just glad it's coming out.

Think I remember it was bare bones... Oh well, it'll be super cheap and it's very rewatchable! I dunno how many times I've watched it on Comedy Central, even when I told myself I wouldnt... :)

If I remember correctly, PAN & SCAN on one side, WIDESCREEN on the other. A feature film commentary with Jeremy Piven and the film's director, a making of documentary, an EPK, and some menus.

Heliosphann 06-30-03 11:46 PM

Well shiva me timbas...

I have been corrected.

 Thank you Mr Movie critic. Why don't you just leave?

On topic that covers not that bad, besides it's the Disc itself that matters. :)

I didn't even realize this was coming to DVD. Happy days are here again!!!

Ummm, I don't know what you're referring to. I don't tend to watch much tv. What tv show were you referring to?

mikewendt 07-01-03 05:51 PM

I like the VHS cover better... My 2 cents...

Goldberg74 07-01-03 09:11 PM

I'll work on a new piece of cover art... so watch for it in the Covers forum.

CapRockBrewingCo. 07-01-03 09:52 PM

Who cares (too much) about the cover art in this case. I'm just happy this movie is coming out. If I had the choice between no movie or movie w/ mediocre cover art, I'd choose the latter.

If people threadcrap, just report them to us and leave the post alone... quoting it over and over and over again just makes more for us to clean up. Thanks!
