Maybe it's a Canadian thing. DVD Box Office, Direct Video, DVD-Plus and Totalactionuniverse all have it. Maybe it's out of print for US distributors? Or maybe, like I said before, this just means that their print run is out and they're waiting to rerelease it as one of their double-features. Remember Zombie was unavailable for a while, but it was later reissued at a lower price point.

lol, Canadian etailers are LOUSY at keeping things accurately listed on their sites. They have things that have been OOP for over a year still listed on their sites as available, but I bet that if you order them, they will never arrive......nor will you ever get a notice aying they are no longer available. They sometimes even show releases as available that had their releases totally cancelled, for example, Cat in the Brain.

Well, whatever. Like I said, my distributor also claims to stock it, but I'm sure we'll see it again as a double-feature before Anchor Bay loses the rights to Blue Underground. Either way, it's crazy for anyone to be paying eBay prices for it.

Erm...they do still hold the rights. They reissued their Zombie disc at a lower price point until the Media Blasters disc arrives. You can still buy the Anchor Bay disc most anywhere for $9.99 or less. They said they rereleased it at that price because too many people were being duped into buying it at inflated prices on eBay.

I know. My point is that they were leading people to believe that an SE was in the works from them (had one listed for a while) and that they had the rights locked up for some time when in reality they didn't and knew it. It's a ploy to get people to buy their discs thinking that nothing better is in the works for a long time. IT wasn't until Media Blasters started making it known that they were taking over the distribution on the title that Anchor Bay "enlightened" us as to their intentions. Sorry that wasn't clear in my first post.

Especially for titles released by an independent company like Anchor Bay, which doesn't have a Canadian division, so its up to a Canadian distributor to import the discs from the US and then sell them here to retailers. The extra steps involved, by small companies, just seems to lead to more inaccuracies about whats actually available or not.
