This comedy classic gets a new 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 surround tracks, an introduction by Eric Idle , an audio commentary, "The Meaning of Making the Meaning Of Life" featurette, deleted scenes, "The Songs" and "Snipped Bits" reels, plus "Un Film de John Cleese Songs," "Unsung," and "Education Tips," filmographies and trailers. I would like to hear a sincere and frank commentary, because undestandibly, mosty Pythons don't consider this their finest hour. But I do think the accountant pirate sequence is nearly worth the price alone as one of th finest things filmed in the 80's. I guess all that would be left after this is "Monty Python: Live at the Hollywood Bowl" which is merely a live rendetion of their television show, featuring mostly classic sketches. But nonetheless, it's hilarious and definately worthy of at least a barebones release.

I have never seen this, but have always heard how good it is. I am thinking about getting a new 50" HDTV in August so this will fit right in there.

Best news ever! Not my favorite Python movie, but still a great one. Any mention about the short that was in front of this in the original DVD... I can't think of the name right now, but something to do with insurance. It would truely suck for anyone without the original to not have that great short.

Anybody know what the three deleted scenes are? I would assume that one of them is the Martin Luther sketch that you could see if you got to a certain point in the Meaning of Life video game, but I don't think I know of any others that were cut from this movie...
