JCVD's "Kickboxer" DVD re-release 7-15
 

As we all know, the HBO edition of Jean Claude Van Damme's Kickboxer went out of print and those bastards on ebay really want to rip you off. So, I looked around and found that Lions Gate Entertainment has scheduled to release the movie on DVD on July 15.
It starts off at a pretty cheap price, which kind of makes me wonder about the quality of the disc. Anyone know the specs for this disc? Hopefully, better or atleast equal to the HBO version?

AS far as I know it's bare-bones. As are 2 and 5 which also come out 7/15. I haven't seen anywhere list if it's P&S or WS.

Hopefully it will be anamorphic. I have the original HBO version and its anamorphic. Not a bad picture either. Sound is average. Great flick tho! YOU BLEED LIKE MAI LEE!! MAI LEE...GOOOO &^%$!! :)

Does anyone have this version? Is it widescreen OAR or is it fullscreen? Thanks.

The Lion's Gate disc which is full frame was released July of 2003. :D
