some one is selling 120 copies of the history of beavis and butthead

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=26422

HOLY **** i dont need to buy this is already have a copy hehe

120 copies on one auction. i wonder how that guy got so many. the guy i bought my set off of which is the seller owndvd is selling 20 copies in one auction check it out.

also i think i know why it may have been recalled

in one episode beavis is flicking his lighter in school. they had to edit that stuff out of all the beavis and butthead episodes and this one still had it in it.

or

in the episode give blood which is the first episode, beavis is wearing a Slayer band shirt

i think one of those is the reason it was recalled

Doesn't seem wise to pimp out this auction. Who knows if it's a scam or hell.. it's for the lot of them, so you would have to spend the amount and at the reserve price you still are paying 30 bucks for each. either way I thought there was a rule about no ebay pimping?

Anyone else find if funny that NOT ONLY do you pay $2000+ for 120 copies of this, but also 120 x $20 for shipping.

Note the "shipping is for 1 piece" line near the bottom

Honest seller, but stupid. Who the hell wants to buy that many for around 30 bucks a pop? if you are clearing inventory, atleast be smart about it. If he was smart about it, he would sell one by one or atleast shoot for a lower number.

Stupid?! He knows exactly what he's doing. $2,400 for shipping if I'm reading correctly...

People are bidding on it for $2,550.

No, it's not $2,400 for shipping. He clearly states (twice) to e-mail for the shipping costs. He cut and pasted the description into his usual template, and forgot to change the $20 shipping price.

With a handle like "usedpc4u.com" I'd bet selling DVDs is not his main avocation. I think he fell into a deal and bought the lot, and just wants to turn around and sell them to make his profit. I used to do this all the time when I was an active e-bayer. I'd buy a lot of something (baseball cards, Magic cards etc) for a song, and sell the whole thing at a good profit. I've had buyers tell me that they got a great deal. I was happy, they were happy. Just my pet theory mind you.

I'll have to check that, as I bought one for $200. back "in da day." But I don't recall Beavis playing with a lighter - the only times you saw him trying to unsuccessfully flick a bic, was during a music video when he had an unlit cigarette dangling from his mouth.

About the Slayer t-shirt in episode 1, I'll have to check that.

Isn't everything on ebay? Ok, maybe half.

Beavis and Butthead are geniuses compare to fools who buy scams like this one. $5 for the item, but $300 for shipping. The buyer should really report this guy to ebay for scamming.

Beavis is indeed wearing a Slayer t-shirt instead of his usual Metallica t-shirt - but would Slayer really raise a fuss on that? To cause the recall that allows boneheads like the one in this thread to sell em like hotcakes on e-bay??

Yeah I saw this while searching for a History Of Beavis & Butt-head DVD. I think I'm finally going to buy one. I remember when they were first recalled and they were going for 200-300 bucks, something like that. $40 doesn't sound too bad compared to that.
