Ab Fab DVD special collection confirmed for 9/30/03 release date

As per Video Store Magazine:

Both specials:
"AbFAb in NY" and "The last shout" will be on 1 DVD (SRP: 24.98)- This will complete the entire Ab FAb series

There was some talk that Jennifer Saunders may be having another run at Ab Fab- but nothing confirmed yet- Unless someone knows otherwise.

Yeah, I believe Series 5 is already taping in London. It's set to air later in the Fall.

Hmmmmmm, mixed emotions about a fifth series.

I'm a huge Ab Fab fan. I think Jennifer Saunders is the funniest woman of all time. But Series 4 wasn't all that great. Didn't even come close to series 1-3. The last two episodes were the only REALLY funny ones.

I hope Series 5 is an improvement!

I need to pick up Season 4 before this gets out. I can't fathom why I like this show, but I do. People ask me and I can't explain it. I guess it's just the excess and the absurdness.

From what I've read, Jennifer Saunders really listened when people said that Series 4 wasn't up to par with the others. She has decided to make Series 5 the best ever so that Ab Fab will go out with a bang.

I REALLY hope she succeeds.

I have written down also (from a long time ago so I don't know if it is still accurate) that 2 more French & Saunders dvds are also planned for release on September 2:

French & Saunders: Living in a Material World
French & Saunders: The Ingenue Years

I read that Series 5 is going to air on Oxygen in the U.S. this time instead of Comedy Central.
