Anyone have any details of the upcoming The Andy Griffith Show DVDs?

I've seen several websites reporting the release of two volumes of The Andy Griffith Show DVDs some time this month. The only details I can find on them is that each volume will have four episodes each. I was wondering if anyone knew if the included episodes are the same ones that have been released on previous DVDs. Thanks in advance.

Yes, all of these are the same random episodes on which the copyrights were accidentially not renewed.

You'd think they'd just go ahead and put out an official authorized box set of the first season already.

I'm still waiting for Mr. Griffith's greatest television achievement to be released. I'm referring to, of course...

SALVAGE ONE.

How long are copyrights last for TV shows?

The show was made 40 years ago.

Disney has changed the CR laws for movies, I assume this applies to TV shows also?
