Tell the movie studios what you want!

I received this invitation as part of a Special Offer from Warner Brothers, when they sent me an e-mail newsletter.
I thought I would share the link with the DVD Talk audience so we can make our voice heard and possibly have a positive influence on the industry.

Warner: stop the restriction on not releasing NC-17/unrated equilvalent films on DVD

Other studios:

Disney/Buena Vista:

Either decide to fully support DTS or not. Drop the full frame from your animated features and give us Region 1 customers the DTS tracks that grace the Region 2 editions.

Universal Home Video:

Like Disney/Buena Vista, DTS at one point was pretty consistent, now there is no rhyme or reason why some discs get the treatment while others don't.

All thier animated movies are in OAR, it's just that a lot of them were 1.33:1. Try asking about some of the family movies released full frame MAR.

I am referring to the films like Pixar's where the full frame version was dropped for the Region 2 release and added a DTS track. Both "Treasure Planet" and "The Lion King" are also rumoured to include a DTS track.
