My 25th Hour didn't come w/ an insert. Is it anything more than a chapter listing?

Not sure if I should send it back to Columbia House or not. I'd really rather not mess with it if the insert is just a plain chapter listing.

Nope...in fact it is less than a chapter listing...There isn't supposed to be one.

Odd, I didn't think any of the major studios (sans MGM) released discs without chapter inserts.

Is this a common trend?

both 25th Hour and The Recruit are shipped without inserts. both are Touchtone/Buena Vista releases. 2 instances (that i know of) does not a trend make but lets hope it doesn't turn into one. even if the insert is nothing more than a 2 sided sheet of paper stock, i'd rather see that than nothing at all. it looks so...empty.

Agreed, EMPTY is the word. Especially when there is some interesting alternate artwork for the film.

I've been going through my new releases, and discovered that Far From Heaven did not include an insert either (however, it was a previously opened Columbia House disc, so who knows).
