R1 non-anamorphic DVDs vs. other-Region anamorphic counterparts?
Has anyone compiled a list of non-anamorphic Region 1 DVDs that have an anamorphic DVD counterpart in some other region?

Dan if you have a JVC XVS500BK mod for Regions 1-6, you have X,Y, Scaling for *any* PAL Discs R2 & R4
Case in Point R4 "The Final Countdown" is 2.35:1 when I use my scaler, I can scale it to be anamorphic. If you need X, Y, Scaling on Region 1, you'll need to buy a Chinese Malata aready mod.

I think you're a bit confused as to what "anamorphic widescreen" means.

For the record, the Final Countdown disc is 1.85:1 non-anamorphic letterbox.
