Does this day mark the official end of the Good Burger jokes?

Good Burger is finally out, so is this the end? Have we reached that monumental day in DVDTalk history? Or will I ever live to see that day?

waskydiver 05-27-03 02:02 PM

Sorry... not until there is a Criterion version.

I might also accept a Super bit, but man it will have to be some top notch quality.

calhoun07 05-27-03 02:58 PM

I am now going to campaign for Cool as Ice: The Criterion Collection.

MasterCXtreme 05-27-03 04:06 PM

I liked it when I was a kid, haven't seen it since. Couldn't tell you bout it now. But the joke will live on, not as strongly, but it will live on.

The Criterion cover design and case are so much that better that I will just wait for it.

Tarantino 05-27-03 07:46 PM

CRITERION, CRITERION...

Seriously guys...do you think they'd ever just make one, just because we ask? That'd be hilarious, and I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

CRITERION, ARE YOU LISTENING???

I've gotten a lotta use out of that image on these boards...

HitManX 05-27-03 08:28 PM

whats so special about this movie? I saw it a long time ago, and it was pretty low on the interest scale. Was it so bad that it became a cult hit or something? :hscratch::beer::D

jough 05-27-03 08:30 PM

Man, if you have to ask, you'll never know... ;)

I have to admit when they foiled the evil burger chains evil plans of burger domination, I was moved. That was the exact moment in my life that I began to love film.
