Disappointing Man Show news

Now I am not as enthusastic for this release as I once was:

Distributor Eagle Rock Entertainment has released some details on the upcoming June 10th release of The Man Show. The disc will feature the first four episodes of the Comedy Central show ("Oprahization," "They Donít Want Sex As Much As We Do," "Bad Old Dayís," and "Appearances") along with never-before-seen footage and outtakes of girls jumping on trampolines. Retail is $19.95.
What happened to the three discs, and first 14 episodes? For a single disc with just four episodes, this DVD suddenly became VERY high priced, and it looks like I am going to contemplate passing on this, unless it's uncensored. Then I will get it only if nothing else is coming out at that time.

not sure where you got this info from calhoun07 but I can tell you it is incorrect. The Man Show Season 1 will indeed be a 3 disc set containing episodes 1 thru 10 of season 1 and some bonus footage. The set which streets on June 24th will be rated NR for adult themes (not sure about what will or won't be censored) and it will carry an MSRP of $29.98.

hope this helps

Sorry, I forgot to post the source. www.davisdvd.com, where 90% of the news on this site comes from, and they seem to be accurate. I hope you're right, and they posted some false information on this one.

EDIT: I went back to davisdvd, and the story isn't on there anymore. Last night, when I posted this, it was right underneath the news about Bowling for Columbine. Perhaps they removed it due to inaccuracies. I hope so!

Anyone know if they will be uncut and uncensored or if these will just be the tv versions complete with digital blurring and bleeping.

Amazon.com has it listed for June 24th, 3 Discs.

I hope Amazon is right. . .but they list it as Unrated. I assume this may mean uncensored. Or so I hope.

Any news guys?

Actually, I meant most of the news bits the regular posters post on this board. I wasn't referring to you or any other DVDtalk staff member, nor did I mean to imply DVDTalk was taking material from other sites.

I am assuming that it is listed as unrated because it is a TV show without a theatrical rating, and not because it will be uncensored. Although like you I am really hoping that it will be uncensored!!

Considering how many times they have to blur out naked Juggies in this series I would definitely buy it if it were uncensored.

I seriously doubt it will be though.

The ONLY way I'd buy it is if it's uncensored/unedited.

A side note: It would nice if they had a pic of The Fox on one of the discs.
