DEAD SOLID PERFECT - A Movie Screaming for a DVD release!

I don't know about any of you, but I have to say that the Randy Quaid movie, DEAD SOLID PERFECT, made by HBO back in 1988 should be on DVD. The story was fun and the acting was solid. An anamorphic transfer, a solid 2.0 Dolby track would be just fine for me. Opinions?

I remember this movie from college. A roommate and I memorized that there was an AWESOME scene about 37 minutes into the movie. Let's just say there is a motel room, a bed, a hot naked chick, and ice cubes. No matter what we were doing, if we were in the apartment and 37 minutes past the start came up, we were glued to the TV. That scene never got old. Ahhhh memories.....

This was a fun one, although being a made for cable film, I don't know how the anamorphic enhancement would work.

As for the ice cube scene, the guy that she passes in the hallway while getting the ice is Dan Jenkins, the guy who wrote the book it was based on. He wrote a GREAT piece in Golf Digest about the making of the film and about how everyone was afraid to be involved with it because of the language in the film. One of the best making of pieces ever written about a film.

First thing to pop in my head when I saw the thread was Corine Bohrer in that hotel hallway with the ice bucket on her head! But Jack Horner would be proud, as I'd often stay tuned past that point, because it's my 2nd favorite golf film behind Caddyshack. This definately could have/should have been a theatrical release. Nice little movie, sort of a more serious golf Slapshot.
