Land Before Time: Mysterious Island compatability problem with Sony?
 

I just got this for my son on Sunday & it froze/skipped at the end of chapter 9 to the end of chapter 10. I checked the disc & returned it today. The new one does the same thing at nearly the same spot. I tried it on my other Sony player & it does the same thing. When I tried it in the SUV, it seemed to play fine. This makes me think it might be a compatability issue. Anyone else have this happen before I return it again for the same thing. Will Kmart let me get one of the other movies instead if it is a compatability issue? I can see them checking it on a non-Sony & saying that it plays fine. My son really likes this so I'd like to keep it.

Just bumping, hoping another parent might have an answer before I return it again.

I have a copy (or should I say my son does) of that title at home and a Sony player. I'll double check it tonight and let you know.

Thank you. It was right towards the end of chapter 9 and through most of chapter 10. It will still play through it, but it pauses & jumps back & forth on both copies I had.

No problem on my 755 Sony.
