Can someone explain how to use the Avia dvd?

Can someone explain how to use the Avia dvd?

I went through it & dont understand anything. I have an older toshiba cinema series tv (1995).

I'm trying to use only the video section, but dont understand how to use it. thanks

I don't know what you're doing, but the DVD is fairly straight forward. Try this: Don't skip around trying to get to calibrations, just watch the DVD. They explain what the calibrations do, and how to use them, along with the red, blue, and green filters provided with the DVD.

Exactly what renaldow said. Watch the segments, don't just go right to the calibrations/tests. Everything is explained right there for you.

The best way to use the Avia is to NOT. If you don't the sound equimpent and what not it is pretty useless. I was able to test to make sure my speakers where in phase. Other than that it becomes personal preference. It wasn't worth it to me.

So you're saying that if he doesn't have a sound level meter he shouldn't calibrate his television? That makes absolutely no sense at all. Apples/Oranges.
