criterion usually releases 3 titles a month.
The best place to buy Criterion is DVD Planet.com where they are all 35% off all the time. If you live in southern California DVD Planet has a B&M store in Huntington Beach/Westminster, that way you save on shipping.
Also if you're looking for OOP's I've got brand new sealed copies of Robocop, SOTL, Unbearable Lightness, and Dead Ringers for sale. E-mail me.

About 3 months ago I decided to buy ONE Criterion title with every paycheck (every two weeks). So far that plan is working very nicely (except that I was too broke last payday to buy one). That'll get me 26 discs a year. I'm well behind, and they'll continue to outpace me, but I still feel that it's a good steady reasonable rate of acquisition.

I think I'm getting a few a month, at the very least. with back catalog titles I need....and the new ones coming out, I always have something from them to add to the library. I have no plans to own all the criterions, just the films I'm into.

I found Overstock to be the best place to buy Criterions. Especially for Californians who have to pay tax at DVD Planet.
Look for Overstock's 10% off or one of their other frequent coupons to make it the best deal. Combined with the $2.95 shipping per order I don't think you can beat it.
