Help me pick a DVD (Best Buy 2 for $20)

I just picked up Major League and Clue at the Best Buy 2 for $20 sale, and then I realized I already had Major League. When I replace it, please help me pick one of the following movies that I don't have and sound interesting:

NOTE - I have read the cover blurbs and some reviews for most of the ones that I have no clue about.)
Orange County (I have no clue about this.)
40 Days and 40 Nights (I saw this in the theater and enjoyed it.)
Pretty Woman (I have always enjoyed this when I catch it on TV.)
Good Will Hunting (I have no clue about this.)
Dead Poet's Society (I have no clue about this.)
Clerks (Isn't there a new version coming in 2004?)
10 Things I Hate About You (I have no clue about this.)

I lean more towards comedy than drama; I don't mind sophisticated comedy or comedy-drama, although I enjoy crude humor as well. For more of my tastes, see my DVD Profiler link.

If anyone can help with a recommendation from this list, it would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: One other option is just for me to return both Major League AND Clue, and pick up the Two Evil Eyes Limited Edition instead...

I just watched Orange County on cable - and was bored for most of it, so I wouldn't suggest a blind buy.

I would say the best titles on that list are: Good WIll Hunting, Dead Poets Society and Clerks.

Join Columbia House and get all your DVDs for less than ten bucks on average? Why not?

Skip Orange County. Picked it up used and couldn't even finish watching it -- and it's only ~80 minutes long! Sold that one back immediately!

For sheer quality of the movie itself, go with DPS, Clerks, or Rushmore (also available in this deal). But the DPS and Rushmore are bare-bones and the transfers and sound are not high quality.

Of those, I'd buy Good Will Hunting and 10 Things I Hate About You, if I didn't already have them. 10 Things I Hate About You is a modernized adaptation of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, with Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger. I know reviews on it are mixed, but I loved it! One of my earliest, and best, blind buys.

I was going to pick up Major League (I'm a huge Tribe fan, I'm amazed I don't have it yet) and Good Will Hunting (never seen it, but Kevin Smith was executive producer, it'll help fill out my KS collection).

Orange County. I thought it was one of the better comedies from last year.

Orange County was mildly amusing, but just because of Jack Black. At least Orange County was better than Shallow Hal.

I suggest you go with Good Will Hunting, Pretty Woman, Dead Poets Society, and Clerks in that order.. those are the best.

I have Clerks Uncensored, J&SB Strike Back, Mallrats and Chasing Amy, so I definitely want Clerks, but with the rumors of the new Special Edition or whatever, coming in 2004, I think I will hold off on that one.

Based on the suggestions, I think I will probably get GWH. 10 Things I Hate About You seemed to get a few votes, as well, although it looks like Orange County didn't get the love from very many folks...

If I don't like GWH, I am going to write all of you out of my will!!!

Good Will Hunting or 10 Things I Hate About You would both be good choices.

10 Things... it's one of the smartest and funniest "teen" movies in the last few years... a modern classic if you ask me...

Or, return 'em both, and order Clue online - you'll get the $10 price, with free shipping.

Re: Help me pick a DVD (Best Buy 2 for $20)

Pretty Woman, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poet's Society, Clerks and 10 Things I Hate About You are all non-anamorphic. Why waste your money?

Clerks is getting a reissue. GWH can be had anamorphic, region 1 and ntsc, from Canada.

If multiregion is your thing, the other ones are anamorphic in other countries.

Why buy substandard versions?
