My attempt at a Die Another Day custom to match the other official releases

I've only done the front. The back will come when I get the DVD. What do you think? Obviously I used the TWINE as the template, you can still see it on the back.

What do you think? I was going to leave the border orange, like the World is Not Enough, but then I changed the color.

Hey Mario,

I'm guessing the reason we haven't had an update is you got home and found MGM had made the cover reversible! Still it was looking good though.

I'm still in a state of shock that a studio did something smart with their covers as opposed to the usual tactic of redesigning the entire set to match the one new release.

Out of interest did MGM do a reversible cover for Region 1 to match the previous releases?

I have no idea. The cover is reversable? Cool. I guess they did it to match the other Bonds. I was wondering why the cover I saw in Best Buy ads didn't match the other releases. It's only been one day since I posted that picture and I was waiting until June 5th or whatever for the DVD to be released. None of the other Bond covers are reversable. I have them all, including the silver Tomorrow Never Dies cover and the TND with the cover similiar to above. Also Never Say Never Again and Casino Royale. I don't have the original non-special editions James Bonds though. I'd like to use matching Zinema covers or something, but I don't think I have enough ink to print all of those. Its just good enough to have Die Another Day match the other official releases.

I too have the silver TND DVD cover - scanned a printed a mates to get the same style as the other 007SEs. Can you believe they were cheap enough to use the same booklet for both, so the standard TND:SE comes with the silver booklet like the silver TND!

June 5th? Die Another Day is already available to buy in the UK - That's where I saw the reversible cover (Had a sneak peak in the cases on display in Woolworths while checking out if they'd used proper double amarays!

This could mean that the reversible cover is R2 only - where are you based?

Yeah well, yours is probably better. I haven't seen the back of the real DVD yet. Maybe the US cover will be reversable too?

Now those of us that have the region 1 have found that the cover is not reversable any takers?

I'll be working on one at some point. I think the one on dvdca now is good from a layout perspective, but could be better quality-wise.
