damn. the movie isn't out yet and i'm already dying to get the DVD!

yup. it's pixar so that means it will most likely rock.

Pixar, they are all about quality of work, very inspirational.

Just kidding, but after seeing the Monster's Inc. DVD, I just can't get over the fact that they have a monkey that apparently just runs around the office. Seriously, how cool is that? He really does need to get his own featurette or something on Finding Nemo DVD.

Also I believe it was announced that the Pixar short "Knickknack" will be on there. You can watch it here in the meantime: http://www.pixar.com/shorts/kk/index.html, as well as the rest of their wonderful shorts.

yeah, <b>Knickknack</b> should be on there too since it'll be playing in front of the film in theaters. funny little short.. it's too bad they didn't have a new one though, a la <b>For the Birds</b>.

i wonder if they will make a <b>Finding Nemo</b> short, a la <b>Mike's New Car</b> from <b>Monsters, Inc.</b>.

I can't wait to see this movie. I will not miss Pixar movies in the theaters. Disney movies on the otherhand...

It seemed as each animated movie in the late ’80s and early ’90s, was becoming more and more successful, the scope of what people thought an animated movie could do got narrower and narrower and narrower. We were very frustrated. We’re all such film geeks, and it was so frustrating to read these reviews by some of your favorite reviewers, and you would really respect their insights — and then suddenly, whenever an animated movie came to be critiqued, they would just turn their brains off and basically say, “Good for kids. We give four stars.”

And we’d be like, “What? If that thing had been live-action and all the same story points had been done, this thing would have gotten an F!” And we felt like, “I want to make an animated movie that’s trying to be just as good as all my other favorite movies — screw what the medium is.” And that’s been our thinking ever since.

For as much as we work in animation, the last thing we do is think about [the fact] that we’re making an animated movie. We think that we’re making a movie. We don’t like thinking that we’re at the kid’s table — we want to eat at the adult table.

I've been counting down themonths til it's DVD debut since I saw the first trailer!

I am just that sick.

I buy very few movies sight unseen. "Finding Nemo" is one that I definitely would buy on DVD, based on the trailers alone. I wasn't disappointed at all that I bought "Monsters, Inc" sight unseen either. Or "Toy Story 2," part of the Ultimate Toy Box.

In a different vein, I'd also buy "Undead" sight unseen. I'd pay full MSRP too, with no problem.
