Homicide: Life On the Streets -- Will A&E screw this one up too..?

After reading about what happened with the Mr. Bean box set, i'm wondering if anything will be screwed up/edited/messed with on the upcoming Homicide season sets..?

Let's hope not..

I certainly hope they don't mess up HLOTS. I've been waiting for this for quite some time.

Based on all the posts in the Bean thread you posted, it seems as if A&E is actually investigating the situation. Hopefully, they'll do a recall. I'm not interested in Mr. Bean, but I feel for the people that have purchased the sets to discover they're cut.

If HLOTS is cut in any way, I won't be buying it until a set with no cuts is released.

Oh please bit your tongue... Don't let there be anything wrong with the HLOTS set. I think so many people have been waiting for this set that major hell would be raised if anything was wrong with it.

I'm a huge Mr. Bean fan AND a huge Homicide fan. I've been waiting for both to come to DVD for over 2 years. I've already been greatly disappointed by A&E with respect to the Bean DVD set. I am praying that it does not happen again with Homicide.

We can only wait and see.

I have most of the Gerry Anderson stuff from A&E (Thunderbirds, Stingray, UFO, etc.) and I think they are top notch. Now, I don't own Mr Bean, but based on my experience with A&E products I think Homocide Life on the Streets is in pretty good hands . I will probably pick this up when it comes out.

Please, please. . .Homicide: Life on the Streets.

LOVE, LOVE this show. . . I'm buying this. The show WAS edited on A&E reruns, probably to fit more commercials, but it better be intact here.

Get ready. Yes, they will F_____ with it.

Homocide: Bean on The Streets.

New motto:

"A&E: Mrs. Bobbit and OJ had their fun, so we will too...cut cut cut!"

Don't jinx it, man.

If I could have only ONE tv show on dvd, this would be it (well, at lest neck-and-neck w/ Simpsons).

I just hope we get everything with no edits. I know there were A LOT of deleted scenes that were shot in the earlier seasons - I hope we get those too.

For the record, the Bean set is not "screwed up." Read about it here:

Mr. Bean Boxed Set Explanation

I'm sure there will be some people who won't be satisfied with this. All I can do is enjoy my set.

You can count on a screwup.. I'm coming the conclusion A&E can't do anything right... check out what I found when I looked at their listing for Season 1 of "The Profiler"..

-------------------------------
Episodes Included in this 6 Volume DVD set:

(*regretfully, Season One, Episode #4, I'll Be Seeing You is not included in this set.)
--------------------------------

an ENTIRE EPISODE being left out???? WHY????

Regardless of what happened with Bean, A&E has released plenty of other TV series on DVD without incident. It's a little soon to be jumping the gun and assuming that they will screw up Homicide.

Homicide is one of the best damn television shows. Period.

I really don't think A&E will screw it up.

The Bean set was explained, so I really don't think it was A&E's fault.

Intrigued as to why Episode #4 of The Profiler isn't included in the profiler set.

Anyone know why?
