There are also some that have two versions of the same movie. One example I can think of is "Curse of the Demon/Night of the Demon," one being the U.K. version and the other being the truncated American version.

Mine is probably a mistake...but my CUBE has a LOVE and a 45 on the flipside. I asked around and it seems it's just my copy...

I own the disc starring Dana Andrews, you could go 'wild' on a subject like this. There are flippers, movies like The Abyss that have 2 versions Theatrical and Directors Cut etc..

I tried to make it a direct DVD subject, so the forum moderators would not move it to movie talk. If I keep the forum mods happy they won't move it, and I am trying to do just that. That's the reason I didn't put it on, heck I like "Curse of the Demon" Walter.

THE MADNESS TRILOGY

This disc has three pre-code 'warning' films:
  • Reefer Madness
  • The Cocaine Fiends
  • Sex Madness
Unfortunately all the prints are in terrible shape.

That was a 2-disc set. He's talking about DVDs with two movies on one disc.

Okay, here we go. I am not going to list budget publishers. Brentwood, Marengo, and Delta put put some nice double features that are worth checking out. Madacy puts out some that should be avoided like the plague. (Horrible transfers.) Ground Zero also puts out a series of Kung Fu movies as double features under the banner "Black Belt Theater."

First, there are the OOP Universal Monster movies:

Dracula's Daughter/ Son Of Dracula
Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man/ House Of Frankenstein
Mummy's Ghost/ The Mummy's Curse
Mummy's Hand/ The Mummy's Tomb
Son Of Frankenstein/ Ghost Of Frankenstein
Werewolf Of London/ She-Wolf Of London

Then there are the Bob Hope Tribute Collection double features:

Caught In The Draft / Give Me A Sailor
College Swing / The Big Broadcast Of 1938
Louisiana Purchase / Never Say Die
Monsieur Beaucaire / Where There's Life
My Favorite Blonde / Star Spangled Rhythm
Sorrowful Jones / The Paleface

There are the Elite Drive in shows:

Drive-In Discs #1: Screaming Skull / The Giant Leeches
Drive-In Discs #2: Giant Gila Monster/ The Wasp Woman

MGM Midnight Movies (most of which have already been mentioned):

Angel Unchained / Cycle Savages
Attic / Crawlspace, The
Countess Dracula / The Vampire Lovers
Cry Of The Banshee / Murders In The Rue Morgue
Deranged / Motel Hell
Evening With Edgar Allen Poe / The Tomb Of Ligeia
Ghoulies / Ghoulies 2
Haunted Palace / Tower of London
Invisible Invaders / Journey To The Seventh Planet
Masque Of The Red Death / The Premature Burial
Oblong Box / Scream And Scream Again
Poltergeist 2: The Other Side / Poltergeist 3
Psych-Out / The Trip
Teen Wolf / Teen Wolf Too
Troll / Troll 2
What's The Matter With Helen? / Whoever Slew Auntie Roo?

And there are some other assorted titles:

American Ninja 2: The Confrontation / American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt
Missing In Action 2: The Beginning / Braddock: Missing In Action III
At First Sight / Kill Me Again
Black Stallion / The Black Stallion Returns, The
Breathless (1983) / Red Corner
Class / Youngblood
College Swing/The Big Broadcast of 1938
How The Grinch Stole Christmas / Horton Hears A Who (Not really movies, but I thought I'd throw it in since it's a great DVD.)
Honeymoon In Vegas / Amos & Andrew
Longshot / They Went That-A-Way & That-A-Way (Pan & Scan....why??)
Muscle Beach Party / Ski Party
Support Your Local Gunfighter / Support Your Local Sheriff

Roan has also put out some nice double sets. While they are considered a budget publisher by a lot of people, I like them, and think these are worth checking out:

Ape / British Intelligence
Bat / House On Haunted Hill
Birds Of Paradise / The Lady Refuses
Corpse Vanishes / The Devil Bat
Dead Men Walk / The Monster Maker
Gorilla / Nabonga
Human Monster / Mystery Liner
Indestructible Man / Amazing Transparent Man
Kennel Murder Case / Nancy Drew, Reporter
King Of The Zombies / Revolt Of The Zombies
Roy Rogers Collection #1 with "In the Days Of Jesse James," "King Of The Cowboys," and "Roll On Texas Moon"
Roy Rogers Collection #2 with Hands Across the Border" and "Billy the Kid Returns"
Stranger / Cause For Alarm

Retro-media has some double features, but I'm too lazy to look them up right now.

Can anyone add to this list?

FWIW, these aren't MGM Midnite Movies, just MGM Double Features:

Ghoulies / Ghoulies 2
Poltergeist 2: The Other Side / Poltergeist 3
Teen Wolf / Teen Wolf Too
Troll / Troll 2

Two to add to the list of Midnite Movies double features:

The Comedy of Terrors / The Raven
Muscle Beach Party / Ski Party
At First Sight / Kill Me Again
Black Stallion / The Black Stallion Returns, The
Breathless (1983) / Red Corner
Class / Youngblood
Honeymoon In Vegas / Amos & Andrew
Longshot / They Went That-A-Way & That-A-Way
Support Your Local Gunfighter / Support Your Local Sheriff
Aren't these 2-packs? Where the movies are on separate discs?

Other than that, great list!

Anchor Bay has recently gotten into the Double-Feature game. One I saw recently was Children of the Corn/Creepshow 2. There are some others out as well.

Universal's 1931 dracula has two versions of the movie -- the Tod Browning/Bela Lugosi one that was released in English-speaking markets and the George Robinson/Carlos Villaris one that was released in Spanish-speaking markets.

I'm not sure if Image counts as a budget publisher for purposes of videophile's list, but their version of the Sheik with Rudolph Valentino also has Son of the Shiek.
