I know I'm coming in late, but I thought I'd offer some thoughts I have while looking at the covers.
1. The red in teh template seems very over powering.
2. Do you really need to say "Stephen King's" on any of the covers? It already has his signature at the bottom.
Ok, that's all from the guy who chimes in late in the game

For some of the titles it is required that "Stephen King's" appears...especially
Stephen King's The Shining (as opposed to Kubrick's The Shining)
Stephen King's Carrie (as opposed to the original)
Also some of the movies are actually titled with SK's as part of the actual title.
As for the red, I personally think it is more of a burgandy, very subdued, and quite elegant...If it is overpowering, maybe your monitor needs adjustment...
Thanks for your imput.

Well I am right next door to a "Minuteman Press" and I have the owner buying me a couple reems of the heavy stock matte paper (250 sheets for about $20)...Then I intend on going over to my in-laws, since they have one of those really cool new HP printers (the one that reads 4 different types of cards and has a scantron type of printing system) and just mooching his ink off him for a total of about 10 cents a cover
PS - New covers coming today!

For the record...if "Stephen King's..." appears in the credits on the back...it will also appear on the spine, however it may or may not appear on the cover art...
I will be updating the Rose Red cover and uploading Stephen King's The Stand soon (i.e. in a few hours)

SK's The Stand
Related notes:
I need a big picture of the original Stand book cover if I am going to make a cover with the original artwork...
I will most likely start uploading all of these covers to DVDcoverart just because of the massive amount of space required to host them...I HATE to do that but it might be a requirement...BUT if I do, they will be available here for a good couple weeks before I get rid of them...so if you don't do dvdcoverart, you will have to be relatively quick and download them here before they disappear.
Also, it looks like I was a bit optimistic in what would be done this week (especially since I don't even own Needful things so I can't do the captures) but Storm of the Century should get up today too.
Lastly, the Rose red covers are being uploaded as I type.

The Stand looks good! You may need to change the link on the list because it's linking to The Shining.
What do you think of this one for IT?

Stand & Storm look great Dr. I actually agree with Redrum about that IT image, It looks better than the DVD cover (but like The Shining it's missing the 's after King, which for some odd reason really bugs me)
Dean, when you get ready to do The Golden Years, there is a custom on dvdca that uses the original VHS artwork that looks better than the DVD art
