Cover Request: Tooth Fairy
 

I just got my free vcd from Director Joe Harris of his short film Tooth Fairy & would love a cover for it (I don't wanna store it with Darkness Falls unless I absolutely have too) here is the official site for the film http://josephharris.com/tooth_fairy/

the aspect ratio is a guess, it might be 1.85:1 but I think it's 1.78:1, I know it's not anywhere near 2.35:1 & it's not 1.66:1

Any chance you might do a cover for it Ramm? I like the poster that was featured on the vcd (the one with the eye-ball frame & coin title)

I could do one for it tonight if no one else has started one... was there a good copy of it on the VCD? The one I saw in the video behind the scenes stuff seemed all pixelated. If not, I can use the one above for the time being...

It looked like 1.78 to me... am I correct?

I'll take that one and the other one and merge them to get rid of the credits at the bottom, they are hard to read anyways.

I can't see the image? could you post a small preview here. I wonder if dvdcoverart would accept a cover for this movvie, it's officially available & they still have that Pearl Harbor II: Pearlmageddon cover you made for me awhile ago up.

yeah I think the eyeball border would be great on the back & maybe put some eyes on the spine also.

Looks good, I think you should have a picture of the mother on there somewhere though, & I think you should leave the end photo off since it spoils the ending.

I will do a screen cap of the mother / son together or just the mom. I forget what there was. Doing that now.

What do you think about the spine/logos/backcover picture of the unused tooth fairy???

I think you should have "The Fan Appreciation Video CD" on the spine instead of "The Original Short Film Directed By Joseph Harris" I think that's what's on the spine.

Man, it looks really great, I only wish it could somehow be altered to kinda match the Darkness Falls cover... I know it's nto put out by any studio, but it'd be easier for me to find on the shelf.

What someone needs to do is whoever has made a scan of Darkness Falls or custom of it should add BONUS DISC, etc and then you can use a 2 disc case like I am doing right now. I just added a Add-A-Page to my current Darkness Falls case so now it has both in one =)

I like it the way it is now. the back looks great with the 2 pictures I think you should have www.josephharris.com on the back & maybe putting The Original Short Film By Joe Harris above the title on the front. & it looks like there's a space in between the coins at the beginning of the T of Tooth on the spine.

Ignition, there is a great looking custom on dvdca for Darkness Falls that you could alter to include the short film.

I think that about finishes doesn't it?

Actually I can't downlaod large jpg files & I can't request titles @ dvdcoverart. Maybe you could see if ChrisK or The_Greek might want to host it.

How are you going to be able to download it then? Do you need a ZIP file or do you need someone else to print it for you? You can just forward the page that I sent you to who ever you need and they can grab it and host it or print it for you. If not, let me know. I will leave it on my friends site until I hear from you on what to do with it.

I will have ChrisK print it for me, but i'm having trouble getting in contact with him, so it might take me a while to get in contact of him.

I will leave it up for as long as needed. If not, have him email me and I will send him the file.

Looking forward to the Critters and Poltergeist covers!

Critters will be for only 1 and 2 at the start since those are the only two I will be buying. I might do a 4 disc set but time will tell on that one... :D

Poltergeist has been updated on my site, I have begun doing some work on it. now that the official specs are out on the double feature disc, I might finish it up early summer...

JJE-187: Did you get the VCD label that Joe sent out today in the email or did your disc come w/ a good label on it? I just got a white sticker w/ text on it. Now I can make a cool matching label. I also put the TF cover on my site now under Covers so everyone can get a copy.

I got a label on mine, I guess I was one of the few who did.

Lucky, I got a stinky white label but that's okay.

Created a new cover for Darkness Falls to include the VCD for those who want to put both in one case. Uploaded to DVDCA and hopefully will be available soon. ALso check my website for more information.
