Who here would buy MUPPET BABIES DVDS??

All these 80's shows on TV reminded me of this great show.
Does Columbia own the rights to this show?
I smell a petition brewin'!

angryyoungman 04-24-03 09:47 PM

I would. This series is one of my childhood favorites!

Walter Neff 04-24-03 09:53 PM

Not in a million years. Sorry.

Cardinal Fang 04-24-03 10:56 PM

In a heartbeat!

scottp120 04-24-03 11:08 PM

If they ever showed the grandma's face I would. That used to drive me crazy, they would always show her feet.

fumanstan 04-25-03 01:08 AM

I'd get it. So many childhood memories with me and my brother. My favorite... when they're all superheroes :)

Heat 04-25-03 01:09 AM

I have a lot of cartoon / animation DVDs for the kids, but there is no way I'd buy the muppet babies.

mdc3000 04-25-03 09:36 AM

I would easily buy this... I hope someone takes notice of the demand and releases it!

Her name was Nanny, thank you very much ;)

I still know all the words to the theme song. I would definitely buy this on DVD.

Roto 04-25-03 10:56 AM

I know the words too, but I wouldn't buy it on DVD

Flynn 04-25-03 10:57 AM

perhaps.

Doughboy 04-25-03 12:15 PM

I would gladly buy this show, but there's no way it'll ever see the light of day on DVD. With all those clips from classic TV shows and films, it'll be tied up in legal rights hell for eternity.

You're probably right. And while I wouldn't buy it on DVD I would like to see a few of these again. It was a VERY GOOD show. There seems to be some bad mouthing of it around here. The show was EXCELLENT.

Merin 04-25-03 02:56 PM

I would get it in a heartbeat. :)

This might preclude full season sets, but there already are tons of these shows on VHS. Certainly Jim Henson Studios could release those episodes again on DVD?

If you are a fan of The Muppet Show, there is no reason you shouldn't like Muppet Babies.

movieking 04-25-03 09:53 PM

I would get it.

ScottReynolds 04-25-03 10:04 PM

I would get it, if only for future kids - this was an excellent show.

The Nature Boy 04-25-03 11:26 PM

Will my hetrosexuality get revoked if I say yes?

OH HELL, WHO CARES?? We are talking about that green socked "Mam" here!!! And who didn't love baby Beeker or Animal? I"m in for this baby!

FuzzyBallz 04-25-03 11:30 PM

*muppet babies theme song running through my head*

Yes, I would buy it just for the theme song.

wrdrobeguy 04-26-03 12:58 AM

Um.... I love the Muppets, but not the Babies. So, no... I wouldn't buy it.
