Daredevil DVD....2 Disc? 1 Disc?

Is this DVD going to be a 2 Disc?

In some websites they don't have in their description that it's going to be a 2 disc SE.

It says "2 Discs!" right on the cover. It will most certainly be a 2-disc.

The "R Rated Cut" is an urban legend. Nothing has been confirmed or announced yet.

Everyone's dream with all these fantasy/action movies is a rated "R" cut. It never happens with the big movies. I was arguing with someone the other day who thinks Lucas will do a rated R cut for Episode III since it will be "so dark."

ah, the fan boy. no way will they make it r even if it is so dak. with the cost of the film they want to make as much money as possible and with an r cut they will be alienating a large portion of theatergoers.

Yeah, I'm sure DD R-Rated will be coming right after that X-Men "with 45 minutes of deleted footage edited in" we were all so sure was coming out a year or two ago...

I don't get it, so what exactly is going to be on the director's version that the original wouldn't have? More action? More dialog? Is it sort of like LOTR?\

Sorry, there is just this mental block that I have on right now...

Apparently the movie was originally going to be R rated but then Spider-Man came out and made a boatload of money. That caused Fox to rethink their strategy and order the movie cut down to a PG13 rating so it could make more money.

I doubt making it rated R or PG has any effect on how GOOD the film was.. I'm sure if they even put a tank load of blood, boobs and sex in it I wont like it anymore then I already dislike it for the reasons that the story lacked and the characters seemed to be totally off from the comic counter parts.. oh wait.. will an R rating bring it closer to being a good comic <---> movie translation?

One thing is for sure, the R rated cut won't have Garner nekkid.

The subplot w/ Coolio sounds boring, except to have a cameo. And I thought Murdock was supposed to be a civil lawyer - but both filmed court room scenes seem to suggest otherwise.

Murdock and Nelson have worked as criminal lawyers occassionally in the comics. Some kind of special deal with the D.A.s office, I think.

We got damn close in the pg13 version, I'm hoping they had to cut some of the sex scene more.

Thats typical thinking.. but really, No garner nude scenes or you would have never heard the end of it from the fans. Really though, would a little more blood and a little more violence = a better film?

Add a LOT more blood and a LOT more violence = INSTANT CLASSIC!

Remember when the X-Men SE was supposed to have extra footage and come out a couple of months after the original release? I know that was a different studio and different director, but I won't hold out hope on this title until I hear an announcement from CTS.

That's right - there's extra violence to produce that blood, too.

Actually, both X-Men and Daredevil are from Fox.

Ah, that's right. I was thinking that DD and Spider-Man were done by the same studio, but no.

Well, then my point is all the more apt!

It doesn't matter. It's good to know there could be a better version coming out or so it seems
