To Artisan Home Entertainment...

If anyone at Artisan home Entertainment is reading, just wanted to let you know that I received my copy of your new Young Guns: Special Edition DVD in the mail this morning... and the picture quality looks like sh*t. Thanks.

I thought this was going to happen. My copy from DDD has not arrived yet buy I saw a couple of early reviews that said the transfer was not to great.

Did you have a 5.00 rebate on your copy?

not a surprise.....since they started to chop-off, PAN/SCAN 99% of their titles I have stopped buying them. ALL OF THEM!

I did get Stargate and Glengary Glen Ross...but that's all....for 2 years now. I hope they read this thread!!

****
For the record I waited all this time for you to release Johny Handsome and of course you had to Pan/Scan-it!!!

NO SALE FOR ME.....THANKS!!!

Dang--is it really that bad? Seemed like a great deal for $10-$12... Not?

FWIW, DVDFile's review indicates that the transfer is pretty good, and much better than the older release.

the transfer looks nearly identitcal to the first release... most notable is an extremely soft picture.
