Family Guy! Can't find it anywhere!

I have been looking for this all week. Tried 2 Walmarts,a Best Buy,2 Kmarts, Suncoast, and B&Nobles. Is there a reason everyone seems to be sold out?

Also: I have noticed a few threads dedicated to technical problems. Anyone know of any official problems yet?

Thanks!

Oh, it's out there alright. It was put out this past Tuesday. My BB had many copies of it.

The technical problems have been discussed in about 49 threads on this board and it has to do with the masters, so there's nothing that can be done about it. It's really not that bad, people are a little too anal about some things.

Its out there but seems to be selling out pretty good (hear that Fox?? Maybe its more popular than you thought. Gee, maybe you shouldn't have screwed around with its schedule and cancelled it. )
The earlier episodes have some flaws, but they were on the masters, so it can't be helped (as mentioned in other threads).

I finally found it at Best Buy, I went to the Tower Records, and the guy behind the counter told me it was not even out yet. I think the stores did not order enough, they did not know how popular it would be.

My thoughts exactly.... My Borders sold out of our 5 copies before noon I'm told.

I hear ya, I couldn't find it anywhere on release day or a couple of days later.... then I received it as a gift yesterday

Now, I'm half way through the first season. It was frustrating to not be able to find it, but friends are nice.

If this sells enough (as in millions), do you think Fox would bring the show back for new episodes?

No, because I never watched it because of the stupid onscreen FOX logo. I'll watch it on DVD with a clean screen though.

I had a hard time finding it as well. I tried Borders, CC and BB with no luck. On a whim, I tried a CD World right next to BB. I looked all over and nothing. As I was leaving I looked on the counter and there was their last copy. As I was paying, someone else walked up to the register and asked about it. The sales lady pointed to me and said, "He just got the last one" the other buyer called me a bastard. He was kidding though. We laughed about it.

We sold out our next wave of 5 again this weekend. I never thought that this set would be so hard to keep in stock.

BTW.... The computer now shows 10 copies headed our way this week. Stop by if you're in Fairfield, CT. Ask for the bald DVD expert.... It'd be nice to meet some of my fellow DVD-Talkers.

My local walmart got it in late, but I was able to pick it up Monday. I'm most of the way thru the first dvd - and I had forgotten just how funny this show is.
