Series packaging differences
I hate when a series has the different cases for each movie. With Final Destination 2 coming out, it looks like it's going to be in one of the nice plastic cases, while the first one was packaged in the stupid cardboard one. The same thing happened with the Mad Max series. It's just nice to see them all in the same types of cases on the shelf, I guess.

The same with the first two Austin Powes movies which were snappers, and are now in colorful keep cases.

Same thing happened with the two Rush Hour movies too.

It's funny how a series like Friday the 13th can get things straight, but something like Austin Powers goofs it all up.

I was thinking the same thing about Final Destination 2. And the first movie was one of the New Line titles never re-released in a keepcase. :(

Well, they just might rerelease the original FD in an alpha case - this happened with Austin Powers, and (I'm told) Blade.
As for the Mad Max series - not much that can be done about that, since the rights to the films are owned by different companies. And one of those companies has an altogether unhealthy obsession/financial interest with snapper cases. Bech - why not just launch into the DVDCoverArt? |
