I'm not people! This film changed my life!
(I could've went with an alternative list that includes films from some of my favorite directors like hitchcock and renoir that are not on dvd, but I went with the (for the most part) wacky list of movies that formed me in my teen years.

This film holds a special place in my heart. I'm glad you celebrate diversity of opinion. Very rare in some parts.

Fortunately, I have some of the movies on the lists on laserdisc. But, would still like to see them on DVD, as my experience has been that most DVD's are better than laserdisc versions. For instance, I have Where Eagles Dare on laserdisc, but the "reds" tend to smear. I would really like a good copy of this movie on dvd. For a long time, I had hoped that In Harms Way would be released on laserdisc, but I never saw it. So, was glad when it was released on dvd. (I just checked and DeepDiscoutDVD has it for $13.56)

I never saw Just One of the Guys so I'm curious to know how it affected you. I'm going to rent it and check it out.

Quit Cool those were the days and nights

Nick Cassevetes of "The Wraith" 1986 played yet another bad guy, in this film about the great green high, which I as a disabled person can't find to purchase.
Quiet Cool great music good plot and I would buy it if it were to be made a DVD disc no questions asked, you see I am 56 but smoking the green smoke was a party signal for guys and gals to get together was our time.

I *lived* in the 1960's almost everybody I knew was watching movies on how good it was. There wasn't a concert we weren't stoned, the music sounded better every thing was just groovy. I miss those days and nights getting high with my friends while watching a movie like Quiet Cool.
P.S. I wish they would make it legal so instead of just a pizza, you could order some good hash hish or Thaiweed also.

I know, but the title of the thread is "Name 10 movies you would like to see on DVD".
Even though it's Anchor Bay, it's still on DVD!

I just watched "World Without End"

We got to get what we want on DVD, and this movie is one of them. I am tired of having to watch Vhs titles when I have the money to buy DVD titles. Right now I have a 20% DVD and 80% Vhs collection, I would like to see that number reversed.

The videos are line doubled to produce a 480i, but I want to view at minimum 480p.
Although not made anymore I have one of the highest resolutions to view DVD at
1280 X 1080. There are expensive plasmas that can't get that resolution. What other titles can we lay at rest in vhs, and get started watching in higher resolution and ease of operation DVD disc?
