Bloody Sunday, April 22nd

I have seen very little mentioned of this film here and on the other sites I visit so I thought I'd give everyone a heads up as to its release. I know many people didn't get a chance to see this film and I recommend that everyone check it out. For thoose who don't know, its an amazing picture based around the events of Sunday, January 30th, 1972 when British troops clashed with unarmed protestors in Derry, Northern Ireland. Its filmed in almost a documentary style that really makes you feel as though your there experiencing everything next to the people there. I'm extremely happy to see that this film, which got a pretty limited release here in the US, is getting some suprisingly good treatment on DVD.

I saw it in the theater. Very realistic--like being a fly on the wall. Highly recommended.

The DVD looks fabulous. I hope that lots of people check this one out. It is one of the most incredible retellings of history I have ever seen put to film.

Sweet! I never was able to see this in the theater due to its limited release. I have heard about it for so long, and it has been recommended by many people. I can't wait to pick this one up.

Thanks for the info, PolloDiablo.
