I saw this when I was very young and have kind of a soft spot for it. I was wondering how good the picture quality and audio commentary are on this disc. Anyone have it?

DVD Talk Legend
Why would anyone laugh at that request? ON GOLDEN POND is a wonderful film with an amazing cast that was nominated for 10 Oscars (and won 3).
Anyway, the DVD is very good. It is letterboxed (1.85:1), but not 16x9 enhanced, with image quality that is crisp and clear. Sound is 2.0 stereo, but is adequate. It comes with a trailer, a great 45-minute documentary (really touching), and a director's commentary track.
Definitely worth seeking out, especially if you enjoyed the film...
