Another Sam Fuller creation, I have heard so many things about it. And I wonder, is it REALLY as good as I have heard it is? Please help me. I am about to buy this one too.

In fact it's even better than you heard. If you like this film you should also get Shock Corridor, which Fuller made right before Naked Kiss. Constance Towers, the ex-prostitute in NK, also plays the girlfriend of the Journalist in SC, and is very very good in both films.

I believe that you also started a thread asking for a review of "Shock Corridor". Well, if you liked that film, you'll probably like "The Naked Kiss" as well. There are no real extras to speak of, but it's a great film with a great transfer.
Also, if you're interested in Fuller's work, "Pickup On South Street" is playing on cable this month...on Cinemax, I believe. I don't remember when off hand, but I'll look it up and post it.

"Pickup On South Street" is playing tomorrow (April 29) at 4:00 PM on Cinemax 2. Have a tape ready!

In Shock Corridor.....
Time is relative. Hell it may be April 75 there to one patient and April 57 to another.
It's like JG Ballard, the great science fiction writer said, "It's not outer space that I'm interested in, it's inner space."

Maybe Pickup being on cable means it'll hit dvd sometime... I'd love that. As for the other Fullers mentioned, Naked Kiss is really good (the opening is classic) and Shock Corridor is great.
