Hi,

I just saw four new Two-disc sets at Sam's Club, from A&E and the History Channel, on the following subjects:

- World War II
- Serial Killers
- Something about the Bible
- The old West

Has anybody seen any of these discs, and is willing to post a review?

I was just about to post the same thing... I noticed these in Tower Records ($20 each) and was intrigued with the SERIAL KILLERS set, which seems to have 4 different A&E programs on it:

I may have to order this soon...

It seems that I have become the go-to guy for documentary/special interest title reviews at our site so I have reviewed a couple of these.

- World War II
I'm not entirely sure which title you are referring to here. A&E has at least three titles that meet this description.

World War II: The War in Europe

Can't help you with this one, sorry.

Great Blunders of World War II

Dale Dobson from our site reviewed this and liked it. I rented it and tend to agree with him. His review is here:

WWII: The Lost Color Archives

Here is my review of this title:

The color footage is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it. There is a similar title to this from Goldhil Entertainment called WWII in Color that makes use of much of the same footage but, having seen both, I strongly prefer the A&E release.

- Serial Killers

I'd recommend you rent this one, it really wasn't that hot. Here is my review:

- The old West
So far as I know, there is no title called "The Old West." I assume you are referring to the A&E title (The Best of) The Real West. Like Serial Killers: Profiling the Criminal Mind, I recommend a rental on this one before you buy. Here is my review:

Hope this is of some help to you.
