another reason not to throw away the laserdisc player yet: LD has the director's cut and a verhoeven commentary...so you might want to hold on, they were talking about porting that onto DVD, but that was like 2 years ago...you never know who holds the rights to things now, especially since Carolco (the company) is defunct...

The dir. cut is also on VHS. Anyone have any info on this version being released on DVD?
