Huge Pacino fan...Just wondering if this dvd is worth a purchase

Kind of a weak story, and definitely not as great as, say, Serpico or Dog Day Afternoon, but Pacino is incredible in it.

The disc is not the best... but the movie itself more than makes up for that:

Excellent film! One of Pacino's finest! Must understand that the film is a satire on the legal system.

The DVD is kinda a mixed bag. The picture definitely has a 70's look to it and while the color tint is kinda brownish-orangish it is a very sharp picture and the print used doesn't have a lot of damage.

Audio sucks and you'd probably expect that from a film from that era in mono.

Bonus is that it has a commentary by Norman Jewison the director and while I only listened to some of it, that might make it worthwhile.
