Read in some past posts that the Leon disc had surround problems. Has this been fixed, and does the current version have the correct sound?

Yes, the current version should be corrected. The way to tell if it's the new improved audio version, on the back of the case in listings of special features it says "Newly Created English 5.1 DD". Also the new # on the back of the case is 4339606196.
