It also does not feature the extended footage often seen in television airings (see the DEAD POETS SOCIETY entry at www.imdb.com for details on these additional scenes).

Yeah, I knew it was LETTERBOX, but wanted to know how the transfer was. I'll probably pick it up since it's one of my favorites, as long as the transfer is decent. Thanks for your replies.
