I saw this movie when it came out in 1977 and I remember liking it. But 10 year-olds basically love any kind of action movie. Anyone have an opinion on it? What's the movie and DVD quality like?

DVD is pretty cruddy looking but watchable. The movie however is fantastic, some of Friedkin’s best work coupled with an awesome Tangerine Dream score. There have been rumours of a special edition but nothing confirmed as yet.
