I just watched the Amadeus DVD and was very disappointed at the job done on the video transfer. The video was to me way to soft and varied much to much from scene to scene. Being that this is an Academy Award winning film it should have received much better treatment then it got regardless the fact that this is one of the earlier DVD produced. Maybe it more the fact that I'm watching it on a larger HDTV that allows me to see more video anomalies then most.

I did think the audio very very good though.
